Description

The Integrated Software and On-Line Documentation Environment (ISOLDE) is a novel, integrated software environment developed by the IIT group at CSIRO with Calvin College in the United States, and is partially funded by the US Office of Naval Research.

ISOLDE is providing the opportunity to streamline the software production and software documentation process, while facilitating the development of a usable, easily upgraded application. Inherent in the design is the ability to re-use software in upgrades or to totally new generation applications, with dynamically updated documentation and interaction models to match the changes. Automatic and semi-automatic task modelling forms an additional important area of work within this project. The system has been evaluated.
